Urgent and Horrifying News....
Unfortunately I have become what I hate. I know, it's the single worst thing that a human being could do. Especially when they are 16 years into their life and haven't really expressed interest at all until now, but I, as of 12:34 pm on Monday February 19th, am a Yankee fan. I am going to follow them, root for them, even sport hats made with their logos. I anticipate I will recieve much ridicule and criticism along the way. Go Yanks!

You fucker, how could you do that? You are a peice of shit and I hope you know that. I'd like to see you try and have a conversation with Tom Lohmaier or any member of that family and not feel like a complete asshole, because you won't be able to do it. What happened to the Braves and the Marlins? From here on out I will be ashamed to be a reader of this blog. The fucking Yankees? This is complete bullshit.

Dan and Mike are like best friends and they root for opposite teams. I'm sure this won't hurt my friendship with Tom at all. Obviously we'll be able to laugh at the other after a big win and things of that nature but I'm sure he's not as hurt by it as you seem to be. Honestly, I don't think it will effect anyone else's life that drastically
It makes me question his sexuality but its not really that big of a deal.Chances are this is just a phase I mean he has liked the Braves, Marlins, Redsox,and Indians in the past like 10 years. Its also not the only person I know who's a Yankee fan (fagots). This will probably just make me and Matt argue about baseball instead of why or why not baseball blows.
This is terrible. I cant be the only one that will be losing sleep over this. It is obvous that baseball does blow, but come on guys. This is a big deal. My main man Yooj seamed like he was going to lose his lunch after hearing the news. I just don't know about this. You gotta stop living in the past man. The future is now.

This unfortunate turn of events did almost make me lose my lunch. But baseball doesn't blow....although cheering for the Yankees certianly does. Maybe its just me, but for some strange reason I enjoy hating the Steinbrenner and the Yankees.
Yankees talk aside, could this be the year the O's take the division? The revamped pitching staff has me excited, not to mention a fully healthy middle infield.
The O's will come in a respectable third place.......again
Hating the Yankees is what I live for. Its fun calling Jeter an overrated fag and arguing with all my friends about certain events in baseball. Baseball would not be baseball if you could not hate a team such as the Yankees. Baseball does not blow and Yooj I am thinking 4th place sorry buddy.

I will be the first to congratulate you Matthew. The Yankees are hated for a reason, but they do it without the classless drugs of the Dallas Cowboys, the Hollywood Bravo of the Los Angeles Lakers, and the D-Baggin actions of the Colorado Avalanche. They play ball. And they are the best at it. Yes, they have the highest payroll, we play in NY..we can afford it, its all relative. Don't blame Steinbrenner, blame Selig.
I am proud to be a Yankee fan, because every single time you root for them, you feel the deep tradition of excellence and pride in the organization.

Well i think i am with all of the other Yankees fans, especially your brother dan, when i say that being a yankee fan gives you a feeling of deepness in tradition of excellence. They are a truely great team, and they get payed for what they play, a great game of baseball.
Sure they have a minor roid rager like Giambi but hey thats just the game. Oh well. You changing to a Yankees fan wont change yours and Toms friendship, me and him have been opposing teams since i first met him in 8th grade. Sure ive lost a couple of bucks to him for betting the world series and bullshit, but hey we're still good friends...
